Technology
Technology is the efficiency engine of your business. The right systems – properly selected, integrated, and adopted – make work faster and more reliable. The wrong ones create bottlenecks and workarounds.
The Right Systems, Talking to Each Other, Running on Their Own
Systems, Integration, and Automation are the three legs of Pillar 2 – one tripod inside the Tripod² structure. Each is essential, and weakness in any one limits the value of the other two.
Systems
Systems are the transactional, planning, and analytical platforms the business runs on – selected, implemented, and configured to fit how you operate.
- Current state assessment and future state architecture
- Vendor-neutral system selection (the 80/20 rule)
- Implementation, configuration, and go-live
- Transactional, planning, and analytical systems
Integration
Integration makes disparate systems talk to each other, so data entered once flows everywhere it is needed – including your history when systems change.
- Systems integration (ETL)
- Legacy data migration
- Master data cleansing and mapping
- Single source of truth across systems
Automation
Automation lets routine work run periodically, on schedule, and unattended – freeing people for the judgment calls only they can make.
- Workflow and approval automation
- Scheduled, unattended jobs
- Triggered notifications and alerts
- AI-assisted automation where ROI is clear
The Business Layer of Technology
Our technology practice covers the business layer: the systems that run your operations, the integrations that connect them, and the automations that eliminate manual work. We do not cover infrastructure – servers, networks, firewalls, and security are a different discipline handled by IT and managed service providers.
Our work is always vendor-neutral. We receive no commissions, referral fees, or compensation of any kind from software vendors – our sole obligation is to the client.
Technology Serves Operations
Technology improvements without operational alignment often fail. We always ground Pillar 2 work in Operations, and we build it so that transactions flow correctly into Finance.
Most business system problems are integration, configuration, and adoption problems – not platform problems. A current state assessment usually reveals more opportunity in what you already have than a replacement would deliver.
Efficiency – Doing things right
Every engagement starts with an honest assessment of all three legs of Technology – and of how this pillar works with the other two.
